Fundraise for Bats
Thank you to everyone who had a party and raised money for bats! Now it's time to send in your funds. You can do this by going to our Justgiving page, sending a cheque made payable to BCT to our office or contacting sballard@bats.org.uk
Help Bats Hang On!
Fundriasing is a great way to help bats and have fun! We have lots of batty ideas on how you can raise some much needed money and support for bats.
Run a pin badge box or donations tin
Take part in a sponsored run
Donate your old mobile phone or printer cartridge
Fundraising at work or school
Bat cakes: organize a batty tea break or even cake sales and ask for donations;
Dress Batty Day: pay £1 to wear batty clothes – wings, big ears, if you have no time for preparation then wear something black!
Sponsored silence bats cannot speak and navigate through echolocation, how else could you communicate it you didn’t speak;
Bat PE class: Plan a PE class to involve agility work, bats are very agile flying and hunting their prey. Ask for donations for practicing new skills.
Fundraising with friends and family
Batty BBQ: serve bat wings (chicken wings), flying burgers, guano sausages, bat beer and ask for donations
Bat walk: ask people for a donation who attend or get sponsors for every bat counted.
Have a Halloween Party for bats
Make your Halloween celebrations even more special by raising funds in aid of the Bat Conservation Trust. Halloween is a great time to get creative, beat off the onset of the winter blues and do some fundraising to help our misunderstood bat friends.
Whatever level of involvement you wish to have, you will be making a difference to what we are able to achieve.
