At the Bat Conservation Trust our Scottish Officer is engaging more people in bat conservation so that we can tackle the conservation threats to our ten species of bat.

About our work in Scotland

The Scotland office is based in Stirling where our one member of staff along with hundreds of volunteers help deliver The Scottish Bat Project, with funding from NatureScot (formally known as Scottish Natural Heritage).

Navigate the pages below to learn more about our work in Scotland and how you can help bats in your local area.

Our National Bat Helpline can answer your concerns about bats in Scotland and give you advice on bat care, building works and reporting bat crime.

Call our National Bat Helpline on 0345 1300 228 for urgent matters or email your general enquiries to enquiries@bats.org.uk
