Survey and Species Summary Maps
Based on the data received for 2019, 178 volunteers carried out the Field Survey at 202 sites. This survey involves walking a triangular transect within a 1km square and counting noctule, serotine, common pipistrelle and soprano pipistrelle passes.
Noctules were recorded at 109 sites (54% of sites surveyed). Leisler's bats were recorded at one site in Northern Ireland this year

Common pipistrelles were recorded at 186 sites (92% of sites surveyed)
Soprano pipistrelles were recorded at 129 sites (64% of sites surveyed)
