Survey and Species Summary Maps
Based on the data received for 2018, 188 volunteers carried out the Field Survey at 209 sites. This survey involves walking a triangular transect within a 1km square and counting noctule, serotine, common pipistrelle and soprano pipistrelle passes.
Noctules were recorded at 100 sites (48% of sites surveyed). Leisler's bats were not recorded this year in Northern Ireland

Common pipistrelles were recorded at 195 sites (93% of sites surveyed)
Soprano pipistrelles were recorded at 119 sites (57% of sites surveyed)
