The Scottish events provide an opportunity for volunteer and professional bat workers across Scotland to spend time together: updating their knowledge, sharing best practice, developing their skills and catching up on the latest 'bat chat'.

There are two events in the Scottish calendar, the Scottish Bat Worker's Conference and Spring into Action day which are held on a yearly rotational cycle.

If you are interested in sponsoring and exhibiting at one of our conferences, you can download our brochure for more details.

Scottish Bat Worker's Conference

The day usually includes spotlight talks from various bat groups in the region, longer talks on projects or sharing new knowledge and research talks. There is a regional priorities discussion session at the end of the day, usually chaired by one of BCT's Trustees, providing a forum for bat worker's to share questions, successes and priorities for bat work in Scotland.

Spring into Action Day

The day usually offers attendees an opportunity to learn new practical skills, improve on their existing ones and to meet other bat enthusiasts through a programme of workshops. A wide range of workshops are offered, to suit beginners to bat work and those with more experience.
