Apply to be listed on the UK Bat Care Network

This form is for those who have trained with an experienced carer and are ready to be listed on the UK Bat Care Network as carers themselves. For more information on the Network and getting involved, please see our FAQ page.

If you want to become an ambulance driver instead, you and the carer you'll be working with should fill in an ambulance driver agreement and return it to BCT by email. If you want to become a bat carer but are having trouble finding a trainer, please fill out this form.

Before completing the registration form, please visit our Resources for Bat Carers section and make sure you've read all the documents highlighted in bold.

You can download a proof of vaccination form, along with a covering letter to help you get free rabies vaccinations if you qualify, via our FAQ page (see link above). The form needs to be signed by your doctor or nurse. Alternatively, you can upload a scan of your medical record that shows your name and the date of your most recent rabies jab(s). Please black out everything else. The Bat Care Co-Ordinator will contact your reference(s) to confirm this.
