Bats needs friends like you. One of the best ways of showing your love for nature is by celebrating bats with your community! Whether that's inviting your friends to a bat walk, surveying bats from home with your family, or raising money for bats at school, there are endless ways to get involved and take action for bats. Get people thinking with art, poetry, photography and more.

Find out how we celebrated bats with Wanderers of Colour, Butterfly Conservation and the National Bat Monitoring Programme below!

Feeling inspired? We may be able to offer you support with your community events, especially if you can help us reach our target audience.

Celebrate with the NightWatch community

We love hearing about the NightWatch surveys, events, and other night-time nature action you have been involved with at home or in your community. Uplifting the voices of the NightWatch community is important to us (after all, it was NightWatchers who helped us develop these resources!) and we love to share your stories, photos and videos. If you have a story to tell, or photos to share, please get in touch!

One of the easiest ways to celebrate bats with the NightWatch community is via our newsletter and Instagram. We have a special project celebrating bats that we want YOU to be involved in on the horizon... so follow along and get involved.

In the meantime, we have lots more ideas for how you can celebrate bats on our website. See the related content to get you started.
