One of the best ways that you can take practical action to help nocturnal nature is by speaking up! Sharing what you have learnt about bats and why you care with friends, family and neighbours can be a great start and an effective way to get immediate interest and action in your community.
If you want to be a true bat advocate and go one step further, you can write to your MP to let them know why they should care about issues bats are facing in your area, and what they can do to help. Writing to your MP is a very effective action you can take. Typically, MPs and their offices will act to respond to their constituents, and they will often be able to take the issue up with the Government.
