Since the June Brexit referendum , BCT has been working internally and with other NGOs on how best to respond. Over the coming months and years we will be working hard to ensure that the legal protection of bats and their habitats is not weakened as the UK negotiates its exit from the European Union (EU).

Wanted: Song flighting parti-coloured bats

Our colleagues in the Netherlands are on the hunt for the song flight calls of parti-coloured bats and have asked if bat workers in the UK can keep a look out when analysing calls this autumn (and perhaps keep using your bat detectors for a bit a longer than normal into the autumn and winter!)
