Education & Engagement

Bats are great at connecting people with their environment. BCT has developed a range of resources for teachers, voluntary groups, community leaders or anyone who wants to inspire people about bats.

Engaging children and young people

Our Youth Leader/Teacher membership includes our Explore the World of Bats education pack and a subscription to the Young Batworker magazine full of informative and engaging articles, activities and a "Teacher Feature".

Our Young Batworkers' Club includes a kids pack and subcription to the Young Batworker magazine full of informative and engaging articles and activities. And you can explore the wonderful world of bats on our Bats for Kids pages.

Engaging diverse groups and communities

The Count Bat Project pioneered inclusive conservation, ensuring people who may be new to conservation had the opportunity to experience bats and get involved in their conservation. We have engaged with diverse audiences to ensure everyone is given this chance.
