Another amazing year for the Sunset Survey! We’ve had a record level of participation from volunteers in the 2024 Sunset Survey. A total of 371 volunteers have taken part throughout this year and have carried out 1064 surveys across the UK. More than 2700 bats were recorded during the surveys, along with a wide range of other night-time wildlife* (*these records are not verified).
We thank all our volunteers for making this year a successful one and look forward to breaking this record in 2025.
