What a fantastic year for the Sunset Survey in 2023! A big thank you to all who took part in the Sunset Survey last year. We look forward to seeing results from previous and new participants this year. Sunset Survey volunteers recorded 2,205 bat records (which includes 17 bat species*) and more than 90 non-bat species. A total of 267 volunteers across the UK participated.

The Sunset Survey 2024 starts from 1st April 2024 and we are particularly keen to get more survey records in Scotland and Northern Ireland this year.
