13th December 2017

On Wednesday 13th December 2017 David Malcolm Stokes B14/9/64 of Blandford Forum appeared at Poole magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to a charge of destroying a pipistrelle roost and a second charge of destroying a brown long eared bat roost. He was fined £800 on each charge and ordered to pay £600 costs and £120 victim surcharge.
A second defendant has pleaded not guilty to these matters and will face trial at the end of January. For that reason BCT are not disclosing details of the case. We will do so at the conclusion of the trial.
