This winters issue of The Young Batworker (YBW), the magazine for the junior wing of the Bat Conservation Trust, will be the 100th and also marks 30 years since the first issue was produced.
Shirley Thompson, BCT's Honorary Education Officer and editor/writer of YBW, would love to hear about your memories of the magazine. Did it help inspire you to get involved with bats when you were a youngster? Do you have a family membership just so you can continue to read YBW now? Do your children enjoy reading it?
If you have any tales to tell please do get in touch with Shirley at YoungBatWorker@bats.org.uk by the 18th of October, as Shirley is writing an article for the next Bat News (as well as the 100th YBW!).
To receive the Young Bat Worker you can either join as a family member (includes both Bat News and YBW) OR The Young Batworker Club (just YBW)
