In this six-part online course we will help you to develop a broader understanding of bat ecology, the diversity of British bat species, their unique behaviour, the threats bats face and the conservation actions being taken to protect them.
This course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about British bats, whether you're interested in becoming a bat ecologist or you're just curious about bats.
Session are online live, weekly workshops lasting 60-90 minutes, starting at 7pm, with opportunities to interact with the tutors on Zoom and ask your questions. Recordings of each session will be available afterwards for 1 month. You can book individual sessions if you are particularly interested in one or two topics, or book all six for a full overview of British bats. Course content is as follows:
