This summer is the start of a brand new citizen science project. The Bats in Churches Study is a suite of two citizen science surveys organised by the Bats in Churches partnership. This workshop will provide you with all of the information you need to take part! We'll explore what we know so far about how bats use churches, the issues surrounding bats in these historic buildings and importantly try out the survey methodology. By the end of the morning you'll be able to undertake the survey with confidence. This workshop is designed for all knowledge levels, whether you're new to the wonderful world of bat surveys or whether you've been doing it for years. Refreshments will be provided.
