Join us for a nocturnal adventure at Newport Wetlands, as we head out into the night with our bat detectors to search for bats. We'll also make and use a variety of moth traps to discover what incredible creatures are out and about when the sun goes down. We'll find out why they have such fabulous names, as we gather around the campfire and toast marshmallows. Do you know why they are called carpets, quakers, and pugs to name but a few? If not then this is definitely the event for you! It is a family event but all are welcome. Booking is essential, contact RSPB Newport Wetlands to book at newport-wetlands@rspb.org.uk or alternatively ring the Visitor Centre at 01633 636363 Price: RSPB members £6.40, non-members £8
