  • BCT is a Living Wage employer.
  • BCT strives to provide an accessible recruitment process. If you require reasonable adjustments for any part of the process please let us know.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required – you will be required to present original documents if your application is successful.
  • Unfortunately we are only able to employ candidates living in the UK
  • The Bat Conservation Trust is an equal opportunities employer which values diversity. We therefore welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons, from all sections of the community. We particularly encourage applications from people of colour and racially or ethnically minoritised groups who are underrepresented at BCT. All appointments will be made on merit.

  • Accessibility: Currently our London offices are on two different floors in a historical building without lifts. Although we have some space on a ground floor, entry still involves steps, narrow doorways, and awkward corridors. We are aware this makes our office challenging for people with restricted mobility and particularly inaccessible for many wheelchair users. We apologise for this and are committed to improving in the future when we hope to occupy an office which is truly accessible for everyone, regardless of their physical abilities. Most of our roles can be undertaken remotely and we can be flexible about requirements to attend the office. In the meantime, if our office presents any difficulties for job candidates, we are happy to discuss potential solutions. Please do this via email when applying for a role: jobs@bats.org.uk

  • If you are a Recruitment Agency, please do not contact us.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to offer any work experience opportunities at the moment. If you're interested in volunteering for bats, please view our volunteer page.
