The Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) works across many sectors to help all those whose work or volunteering brings them into contact with bats. BCT is recruiting a Bat Groups Officer to facilitate BCT’s relationships with bat groups; provide support to the Partner Group network; and promote effective communication between the local and national organisations.

Applicants should have experience of working in the wildlife sector with volunteers, managing programmes of work, and delivering training to a variety of audiences. The ideal candidate will have a good level of knowledge of bat conservation, have delivered training, be highly efficient and self-motivated, with excellent communication and administration skills.

BCT’s main BCT office is in Vauxhall, South London. This post requires travel, including across England, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man. When not in London or travelling the successful candidate can be home based.
