Woodland Symposium Student Bursaries
Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) is pleased to announce that 7 student bursaries are available to students who would like to attend the Woodland Symposium on Wednesday 18th of March 2020. Symposium details - click here
The bursary is to the value of £150 per applicant, with £100 to cover the cost of attending and up to £50 towards travel costs.
In return we would like each successful applicant to share their experiences with our wider audience, to be shared through either the following blog pages:

· And other blog pages (to be confirmed)
Or a podcast interview on the day for our new podcast, BatChat.
Who can apply?
Undergraduate and postgraduate students studying an environmental, conservation, ecological, forestry or arboriculture course can apply for a bursary.
Deadline for applications is 5 pm – Thursday 20th of February 2020
Applicants will be informed if they have been successful by Wednesday 26th of February 2020 and will be provided with details on how to register.
How the grant will be paid?
If successful, a discount code will be provided so registrations can be made via a booking link that will be provided.
Up to £50 can be used towards travel costs but is subject to the production of receipts and completion of an expense form after the symposium. Each successful applicant will be provided with the appropriate documents after the symposium to put in a claim.
How to apply?
Please send us a cover letter telling us how you think the information from the symposium could best be shared and how you could contribute to getting the information from the day out to a wider audience, together with your name, university, the course you are studying, email contact and a letter of support from your university/college confirming the course you are studying and that you are a student. Cover letters and supporting documents should be sent to Sonia Reveley at email@example.com, with the following subject heading – “Woodland Symposium Student Bursaries”.
