This workshop will look at the theory of signal processing, tips on making more precise measurements when analysing bat sounds, and species identification including some more unusual and challenging calls. Techniques will be demonstrated in Anabat Insight, BatSound, Kaleidoscope and Sonobat. This workshop is a great follow-on from our Introduction to Sound Analysis workshop. Although some prior knowledge of sound analysis is helpful, information will also be included for beginners.
This workshop will be run online via Zoom and led by Philip Briggs, Monitoring Manager for the National Bat Monitoring Programme.
