Knowledge and requirements
This collection of workshops is aimed at those new to bat work (either professionally or through personal interest) and with little or no bat knowledge or experience. A list of useful or necessary resources for the training will be provided with the joining instructions prior to the workshops.
Who Should Attend?
This programme of workshops is aimed at ecology students or graduates, ecological consultants, and bat group members working towards their bat licence or training to be a bat carer. It would also be beneficial to those who review or assess bat surveys. An electronic certificate of attendance for each workshop will be sent to all participants, this can be used as supporting evidence for a licence application in addition to other handling experience gained through the usual licence training procedure, or as evidence of undertaking CPD as part of professional institute membership
