Radio frequencies and microwaves

A number of studies have been carried out to investigate the impact of radio frequencies and microwaves on wildlife. To date, results from studies carried out investigating the aversive effect of electromagnetic radiation on foraging bats have been largely unclear.

A short paper published addresses the question of the effects of phone masts on bats. This paper highlights the lack of evidence available, but provides some recommendations on how to reduce exposure to wildlife.
