Newport Wetlands (Gwent) Bat and Moth Walk

Come and explore RSPB Newport Wetlands in a totally different way. With the help of a bat detector you can capture a picture of what’s happening around you, even on the darkest of nights. At least six different types of bats have been found at the nature reserve, so the challenge is on to see how many we find!

Receive expert one-to-one tuition to create your very own professional bat box. By making a bat box and putting it up in your garden, you will be providing a much-needed home for your local bats!

Bat walk, Llanelli Wetland Centre, Carmarthenshire

A walk around the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre reserve with bat detectors. Children's bat crafts will be available before the walk from 6.30pm. After the walk, hot drinks and biscuits will be available from 8pm.
