Whiskered bat
Whiskered bats were found at 7 sites and whiskered/Brandt's bats were found at a further 32 sites during winter 06/07. Therefore whiskered bats were present at between 2.3% and 13% of sites surveyed. The distribution of sites surveyed and where whiskered bats and whiskered/Brandt's bats were recorded is shown below (NB each 10km spot may contain more than one site).
