Summary of the Bat Group's activities:

Survey and Monitoring

• The Bat Group undertakes surveys in the Pengelli Forest and also general woodland surveys for barbastelles.
  The Bat Group does counts at greater horseshoe colonies.

Other Activities

• The Bat Group do house visits to deal with concerned roost owners.
  Bat Group members also look after sick and injured bats.
  BCT Surveys
  The Bat Group undertakes the Waterway Survey, Pipistrelle and Brown Long-eared Colony Counts and Hibernation Site Counts as part of BCT's National Bat Monitoring Programme.
