Resources for Teachers / Youth Leaders

Bats are unique animals, and can be found in all sorts of places, so they are a great way to get young people interested in biodiversity, and to encourage them to get out and explore their local green spaces.

Count Bat Project

The Count Bat Project is a new initiative at the Bat Conservation Trust working to involve a wider audience in bat conservation and overcome some of the barriers to involvement. We are working with various voluntary and community groups as well as local schools and youth groups to provide activities and talks. The Count Bat project is particularly interested in working with groups that are not traditionally involved in bat conservation including young people with physical and learning disabilities.
