October 2017 - January 2018

Since the weather has turned cold, we have been busy pulling everything together, analysing call data collected from the static surveys and visiting schools and environmental events to talk about the project and about bats.

On October 7th 2017 we attended the Wild about Norfolk event at Easton and Otley College (, where we had a stand. We shared a room with the Norwich Bat Group, which allowed us to share our resources and help take turns to man the stands, so we could check out some of the amazing activities that were on offer. This was our second year and like before there was a lot of interest and questions about the project.

During November and early December the project team visited 3 schools in Norfolk to talk about bats and the work we are doing. We also gave a presentation at the Scottish Bat Conference about the amazing work we have been doing with volunteers.
