Leave a Legacy
Leaving a legacy to the Bat Conservation Trust is a tangible and lasting way of showing that you care about the future of the UK's bats.
Legacies are such an important part of our charity income, and any bequest made to us is completely exempt from tax. Your generosity will help conserve bats and their habitats for future generations to enjoy.
Every gift, no matter how large or small, makes a difference.
There are three ways to remember the Bat Conservation Trust in your Will:
Residuary legacy - You specify that BCT receives a share or all of your estate, after all bequests and liabilities have been paid
Pecuniary legacy - You decide on a specific amount that you would like BCT to receive
Specific legacy - You declare what object or objects you would like us to have - this could be anything from a painting to a house
Details to include in your Will
Did you know that legacies to registered charities are exempt from inheritance tax. In certain circumstances a charitable bequest can be a useful way to avoid the payment of inheritance tax on some or all of your estate.
