Introduction to Bats
Come and enjoy an afternoon of illustrated talks and workshops, with an optional evening bat walk (weather permitting!) This course is aimed at those who are new to bats and would like to know a little bit more. There will also be an opportunity to find out how to get more involved with bat conservation, both locally and nationally.
Course content will include:
- What is a bat?
- ID in the hand using specimens and keys
- Introduction to bat detectors
- How to get involved with bat conservation - locally and nationally
- Optional bat walk

This course is being run on behalf of the Droitwich Canal Restoration Partnership, who, with Advantage West Midlands funding, are able to offer a free place to anyone living in the West Midlands area (Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Birmingham and the Black Country, Staffordshire and Shropshire). Anyone entitled to a free place should clearly mark this on their booking form.
