Halloween Party

A massive thank you to everyone who had a party and raised money for bats! Now it's time to send in your funds. You can do this by going to our Justgiving page, sending a cheque made payable to BCT to our office or contacting sballard@bats.org.uk

As bats are so vital to our natural environment we're asking you to help us help them by hosting your very own Halloween party in aid of the Bat Conservation Trust

Why do we need to party for bats?

All of the UK's species are protected by law because their numbers have dramatically declined over the last few decades.

We use bats to monitor the state of the planet. The pressures they face - such as landscape change, agricultural intensification, development, and habitat fragmentation are also relevant to many other wildlife species.

By doing this you will contribute to the valuable work that BCT carries out every year, through our work to conserve bats by:

• Saving thousands of bat roosts every year through our bat helpline
• Monitoring bat populations
• Supporting networks of local bat groups
• Safeguarding habitats by lobbying key decision makers
• Training the public and professionals
• Educating and winning people over to bats through publications, media and events
