Bats and Buildings: an Awareness Course
This course is aimed at anyone who is responsible for buildings and their renovation/development, and at those who carry out the above. This includes builders, surveyors, architects, pest controllers, and others.
The course is a basic awareness course, and will ensure that participants are aware of their responsibilities with regards to bats and are also able to recognise the basic signs of potential roosts.
Course content includes:
- Bat biology and ecology
- Bats in buildings: where, when, which bats, evidence of bats
- Taking account of bats
- Best practice and case studies
Prior knowledge: None required.
