Bats and Bat Surveys
This popular course has been created for environmental professionals looking to meet the increased demand for consultants with knowledge about bat survey work. The course will give an introduction to the essential knowledge and skills required to implement and conduct bat surveys, and will assist participants in assessing when specialist consultancy advice is required in these areas: conducting a baseline survey for bats
Course content includes:

- Survey methodolgies
- Assessing value and impact
- Mitigation and monitoring
- Recognising when to recruit an expert
- Case studies and practical excercises
Prior knowledge: While the course does cover the basics, if you are completely new to bats, it is advisable to do some background reading to get the most from it.
