Bat Group Forum
The next Bat Group Forum will be held on 17th May 2008 at Temple Newsham in Leeds.
The Bat Group Forum was established as a way for batworkers to meet and discuss bat-related issues. Nick Tomlinson, a long-standing member of the Dorset Bat Group, is the current Chair.
The Forum meets three times a year, normally in February, May and at the BCT National Conference in the autumn. Since 2005, the Forum has been held in London, York, Reading, Bristol, Chester and Cardiff. Attendees include Bat Group Regional Representatives, BCT and representatives from the Stautory Nature Conservation Organisations and other groups. Individual members of bat groups are also welcomed, patricularly from areas that do not have a regional representatove. However, spaces for these individuals are limited.
Any bat group members wishing to attend the next forum should register their interest with BCT.
