Which bat species is this?

Common pipistrelle - correct!

Soprano pipistrelle calls have a peak frequency between 52 and 63 kHz (on average 55 kHz) as heard in the video below.

If unsure which species (e.g. the peak frequency is around 50 kHz, or the bat flies past before you can determine the peak frequency), don't be afraid to record as "pipistrelle unsure" if taking part in the NBMP Field Survey.
