The stated aims of this study were to assess the virulence, dissemination and likely means of transmission of EBLV2, a rabies-like virus, between insectivorous bats under experimental conditions.

A summary highlighting key findings and implications from the paper will be available on the Defra website in the coming weeks. BCT will circulate this as soon as it becomes available.
